To ensure our compression performs with the highest degree of comfort and durability, hand-drawn patterns are digitized then perfected with over a thousand body scans and live fit models. At Marena the art of artisan sewing integrates with leading textile technologies to create cutting edge compression apparel.

The Marena Foundation
The Marena Foundation is dedicated to directly changing the lives of those in need. It was organized in 1999 by starting a program to respond to personal, individual requests for help and giving the chance to help families in crisis recover. The Marena Foundation strives to help families in need, when they need it and is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

1994
A Discovery
Vera and Bill Watkins discover the benefits of effective compression when, as an Olympic cyclist, he used a garment Vera designed and experienced the healing results. They founded the Marena Group, an FDA registered company.
1996
Patented Fabric
Looking for benefits and innovation that was not available on the market, they developed the first version of the now patented ComfortWeave fabric through partnerships with leading US textile mills.
2001
Recognition
Awarded the 'Small Business Exporter of the Year' from the state of Georgia in recognition of Marena's international success.
2006
Awarded
"Grand All-Star" by Apparel Magazine for Marena's achievements in textile engineering, corporate culture and manufacturing excellence.

ISO Certification
Marena earns Certification ISO 9001 for Quality, and later earns ISO 13485 as a Medical Device Company.

Growing Compression Online
As patients and consumers alike discover the benefits of medical-grade compression, Marena launches a new ecommerce platform to provide access to product, more education on benefits and help with custom orders.

Marena launched their own just-in-time manufacturing division just north of Atlanta, Ga.
